This file contains the known descendants, to the 6th
generation, of Joshua Cawood, born about 1690, nailmaker of Otley, Yorkshire.
Notes for David CAWOOD
Died young [2]. [6] says he died of measles on the ship on the way out.
However, Tabler, E.C. ("Pioneers of Natal and south-eastern Africa 1552 -
1878") mentions David as being with his brothers in Natal, 1832-33.
CAWOOD, DAVID Juvenile visitor. He was born in Yorkshire in 1819 and was in Natal with his brothers, 1832-33. See S. Cawood.
